I’m still surprised how many people have asked me about SleepPhones. Here is the main reason I use them instead of the speaker GEN the 10 Newspaper man readingon my nightstand. I have started listening to Brain Wave sounds in the background behind the music or podcasts. This app plays barely audible sounds into each ear to elicit different brain states. It may be nonsense, but I don’t wake up in the middle of the night any more, and I feel much more rested in the morning!

We opened enrollment for Sports Medicine University Monday! One of the aspects of the site that members have told me they like is our monthly Master Class. Book I read this week: How to Argue & Win Every Time: At Home, At Work, In Court, Everywhere, Everyday by Gerry Spence. This book is tremendous! I make notes in books as I read them or listen to them. I made so many notes here for techniques to use when trying to persuade someone. I love the emphasis on telling a story! Trust me. No matter what the scenario and who you are trying to convince of anything, this book can help you do it more effectively.

Book I’m reading next week: Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time by Brian Tracy. I’ve had this book on my bookshelf for three years, and I’ve never read it. So many authors and thought leaders mention it in their work that I figured it’s time to see what it has to say!
