Rotator cuff tears are some of the most common shoulder injuries in older adults. They can be a source of tremendous shoulder pain and weakness.

Many people dealing with a rotator cuff tear don’t remember a specific injury that started their pain. They just notice a nagging pain reaching overhead, out away from their body or reaching behind their back. They also notice weakness with activities overhead and away from their body.
